28-31 August, wonderful four days in Paris. We saw so many masterpieces and walked the entire city a few times. We stayed in a studio flat in Bastille and ate lots of bread. So many ornate doors in that beautiful city. Plus the weather was amazing, averaging about 27 degrees for four days straight!

Hi Rod, Yes we went to the Louvre, but didn’t see that one you linked to. It’s nice though, would have been good to see! We saw so much art that weekend I thought my eyes would fall out or my brain would explode. My most memorable had to be Monet’s Les Nympheas at the l’Orangerie, which filled two whole rooms!
