		<description>The school I was teaching at had a strictly no ipod policy, and I can tell you it made teaching a lot harder.  Allowing students to use ipods when doing quiet individual tasks, meant that the students actually got on with their own work, with no talking or disruption to the rest of the class.  It also meant that the students who needed one on one attention and help could get it without me stopping to quieten everyone, or focus just on behavioural issues.  The only instance in which it was not effective (during individual tasks of course) was if people wanted to &#039;share&#039; an ipod.  That is a big nono.</description>
