Oh Christmas tree!

Wes, Andy and I ventured out to Kirkhill Forest yesterday to buy ourselves some genuine Christmas trees. Our choice was between spruce, fir and pine. Spruce is the one with the Christmas fragrance, but drops needles apparently. Fir is also a traditional Christmas tree, but drops less needles. Pine is greener and bushier. Yes we got the pine, while Andy went with a fir. There was quite a debate between Wes and I about which type of tree to get, but I won! My reasoning for having to be the winner? Well, last year we had a fir tree, and we can always get one again next year…

I love the smell of a real christmas tree…. my own “tree” is one I painted so I could stick it on the wall – no space to put one on the floor – and glued tinsel and stars on. I quite like it, but it’s showing a bit of wear and tear now!
