Seeing as Wes is SO much fitter than me, when we hike together I always worry I’m going to be left behind, trying constantly to catch up to him. Thankfully though, he’s so crazy about bird spotting, he stops all the time, whips the bins out, says ‘shoosh’ and spends good view minutes trying to get a decent view of the wildlife. Time to catch my breath and recover the energy to stride off again! Hee hee!
